What Is It? This product solves a problem - once you've laid cable around your home to extend your use of Satellite, Cable or Freeview TV to other rooms you still want to be able to change the channel! The Bluedelta Smart Eye plugs into the digital coaxial cable where it enters the second (or more) TV, and extends remote control back to the Satellite, Cable or Freeview box. Once the Bluedelta Smart Eye is in place you can control the Satellite, Cable or Freeview box with the original remote or a suitable universal remote control. If you need to control more sources (e.g. a DVD Player, hard drive recorder etc.), then you need to use the Bluedelta Smart Blaster in conjunction with the Smart Eye. What Does It Work With? The Bluedelta Smart Eye is great for Sky TV, including Sky Plus. It will also work with Virgin Media boxes as well as Freeview boxes, however for some of these you will also need the Bluedelta Smart Blaster. Also when the Bluedelta Smart Eye is used in conjunction with the Bluedelta Smart Blaster it will also control any other AV equipment in the same room as the Smart Blaster. This includes DVD Players, DVD Recorders, Freeview boxes, VCRs, hard drive recorders etc. Technical Stuff The Bluedelta Smart Eye needs to be powered. This can be through should have a direct connection with no interruptions to the RF out 2 on your Digibox. Splitters, amplifiers and isolated wall plates either drop the voltage (9v) that is being sent from RF out 2 (any capacitors in circuit will pass AC but will block DC), or when sharing the signal the voltage is also shared and drops below its working voltage. The Bluedelta Smart Eye has a much better tolerance for voltage shifts than any other product (all the way from 7 to 20 Volts). This makes the Bluedelta Smart Eye much more robust than any similar product on the market. To turn the power on from RF2 on a Sky Box: Using a Sky remote press Services, then press 4, then type in 0 1, select, then press 4. Make sure the RF 2 Power is switched ON. Aerial Amplifiers

The Bluedelta Smart Eye works by picking up the remote control signal from your remote control in your bedroom or other room in the house via the little eye, converting the infra red pulses to electronic pulses, sending the electronic pulses down the cable to the receiver. The receiver will accept the electronic pulses only at RF out 2 and they then pass through the same circuit as the remote receiver eye that is on the front of your digibox. If there are any interruptions on the cable (splitters, amplifiers or isolated wall plates), these can also block the signal from returning to the receiver and stop this from functioning properly. Remote Controls Often people who buy a Bluedelta Smart Eye also need a second remote control. Guarantee One year manufacturer's guarantee. £9.95 This is the price you pay.
