What's It For? The Bluedelta Smart Scart is for connecting up to four Scart devices to a single TV. What's Special About It? The Bluedelta Smart Scart might look like any standard Scart block, but it isn't. Inside the casing there are all sorts of clever features. The Bluedelta Smart Scart incorporates intelligent switching. Each one of the Scart inputs is part of a hierarchy. This means that the Smart Scart has the ability to decide which device has been selected and it automatically switches that device to the TV. All the other inputs are then shielded from the active input which eliminates signal interference. The priority is decided by the input number - so input 2 overrides input 1, input 3 overrides input 2 etc. Eh? If, for example, you switch on your digital TV the picture appears on the screen. If you then switch on your DVD Player this signal is switched through to the TV. Even Better! If you want to record a TV program from your digital TV, but want to play a DVD or a video game while it's recording you can do that too! The Bluedelta Smart Scart has a record loop facility that makes sure that your recording still carries on while you use the TV for something else. Anything Else? Input 4 has a video sensing facility which enables a video source without an automatic Scart control (such as a camcorder or some video games machines) to play via the Scart automatically. Also, all the sockets support RGB, S-Video and Composite Video. Every socket has built in signal amplification. The Bluedelta Smart Scart needs to be powered (a power adapter is included). The Bluedelta Smart Scart is a premium device. To get the best out of it use good quality Scart leads. The Bluedelta Smart Scart will work alongside the Bluedelta Phantom PVR.
