Coaxial RF Cable (Aerial Cable)

Coaxial Cable

Coaxial RF cable is used a great deal for wiring up a home or other building so that you are able to spread satellite, cable or Freeview TV from one location to several others. Usually used to take the signal from a decoder box in a downstairs room to one or more bedrooms. To make this work you will need some satellite quality 75ohm cable, you also may need such things as an Aerial Amplifier, Magic Eye Satellite Links (to change channels from the remote location), a spare Remote Control and cable terminations. These terminations are the plugs that go at the end of the cable and there are a few different sorts depending upon connection type and where you want to use them. See also TV Aerials.
