What Is It For? The Doro 830R is a DECT telephone. An ordinary phone anchors the user to one place. You can't move easily and comfortably. Enter the analogue cordless phone, enter also an annoying buzzing noise (which is why there are no analogue cordless phones on the BestStuff site). Finally, the digital cordless phone arrives - like this Doro 830R - and you can move without buzzing. The Doro 830R is beautifully designed and is very easy and comfortable to use. What Do You Get? You get the Doro 830R handset and base station (base station is also a charger). You get three different facias with each phone (red, white and gray) so when you get bored with the look of the Doro 830R you can change it. The Digital Advantage Apart from improved reception you can also make internal calls from one Doro 830R handset to another. You can have two handsets working with one base station. Any Other Goodies? The Doro 830R is small and light, has a belt clip, adjustable ringer melody, can be wall mounted, microphone mute option(so the person on the other end can't hear you) and has a 20 numbers dialed memory built into the phone. There are two built in phone books of 10 numbers each, memo recording, call recording and built in answer phone. All the normal DECT phone features are there too 100 hours standby, 8 hours talk time and 140 hours of standby time, when used with Caller ID the Doro 830R stores the last 10 numbers that called you. |
