What Do You Mean - It Doesn't Pop Up?

Dualit toasters are manually operated. Yes, this means that the toast will not just pop up. There are switches to control the degree of browning and the number of slots (you can do one piece of toast in one slot without using the other slot and wasting electricity). Once the toast is ready, the toaster switches off. The advantage of this is that instead of popping up and going cold, your toast stays in the toaster and remains warmer for longer. Also, there is no pop up mechanism, to go wrong.

There is a manual raising lever for actually getting the toast out of the machine and a crumb tray.

What's The Point?

These toasters are built to last. They are built and tested to incredibly high specifications and they are made of metal.

The elements are guaranteed to last one year, no matter how many slices of toast the toaster makes. The element uses 17% less electricity than a normal element.
