Our UK to Euro Travel Adapters change a UK plug into on that you can use in most continental European countries. The voltage in all European countries is the same, so there is no need for a voltage converter in Europe, all you need is a plug adapter. Our Euro to UK adapters do the opposite. Our Power Bright plug adapters change a North American (United States and Canada) plug into a UK plug so that you can plug US equipment into UK mains, or the other way around. Important Note First check that you do not need a voltage converter! The voltage in the US and Canada is 100 - 120, while the voltage in the UK and Europe is 200 - 240. Some equipment uses a universal power adapter or is multi voltage and just requires a plug adapter and perhaps a flick of a switch. Other equipment will need a Voltage Converter which does more than just adapt the plug. You need to check carefully what you need as you could damage the equipment if you make the wrong choice. |
