What Does It Do?

The FOC830 converts Optical (Toslink) signals to Coaxial (phono) signals. To convert you simply plug an Optical cable into one side of the FOC830 and a phono plug into the other. The FOC830 comes with its own power supply.

How does It Work?

It converts a digital optical signal from a standard Toslink socket into a coaxial (or electrical) digital audio signal.

Why Would I Want This?

We have found that some people want to alter Optical to Coaxial for all sorts of reasons. A common reason might be If you have a digital audio device like a CD player, MiniDisc player or recorder, DVD or VCR, digital surround sound amp, etc. which only has optical sockets and you need coaxial to connect it to something else.
