Grado have worked hard to optimize the tonal quality of the SR-325 by using dynamic transducers in an open-air configuration - this means that the ear cups are open-backed. The result is a wonderful smooth, coherent sound with detailed dynamics. Frequency response ranges from 18 Hz - 24 kHz and the drivers are matched to 0.05dB.
