Does It Do?
The GrandTec Grand Video Console III is a video converter device that converts composite video so that it can be displayed on VGA or SVGA screens. The GrandTec Grand Video Console III is often used with CCTV systems, but can display any composite video source on VGA. It has a VGA input as well as a VGA output and it can also accept inputs that are Composite Video or BNC. There is also a 3.5mm audio input. How Does It Work? The GrandTec Grand Video Console III Composite Video to VGA converter accepts composite video signals through either a BNC connection or a Phono connection. It then converts the signal so that it will display on a VGA or SVGA screen. The GrandTec Grand Video Console III supports VGA pass though and it will display in resolutions 640 x 480, 800 x 600 at 60HZ, 1024 x 768 at 60Hz and 75Hz. The GrandTec Grand Video Console III will automatically adapt to either PAL or NTSC. The unit will also allow you to freeze the picture and change the brightness, contrast, saturation and hue. The GrandTec Grand Video Console III comes with its own Euro power adapter (we include a UK plug adapter too, a 1.5m VGA lead and a 1.5m DC out lead. Why Would I Want This?
