The KitchenAid KSM150 Artisan is the latest incarnation of the classic KitchenAid mixer that has dominated the high end food mixer market for eighty years. How Much! Yes, we know they are expensive, but they are worth it. KitchenAid developed the basic machine in 1919. The KSM150 Artisan was developed for the 21st century, but it owes a lot to that first basic design. The sheer quality of the design has made the KitchenAid range a winner for 80 years. It is made of solid metal, which means no plastic bits to break off or wear out. The metal structure makes it extremely stable and durable. The anti slide rubber feet stop it moving even when mixing the heaviest loads. A ten speed direct drive motor operates quietly with 300 watts of full power into the bowl. The planetary mixing action ensures faster and more thorough blending of ingredients all the way to the edge of the bowl. You will not need to rotate the bowl or scrape any bits off the sides unlike ordinary food mixers. The smooth rounded design makes the KichenAid KSM150 Artisan very easy to clean.
