Does It Do?
With this Konig USB 2.0 Audio and Video Grabber you can take analogue video from a VCR, camera etc and transfer it to a PC. You can digitize several video sources such as a video camera, video recorder, TV, etc. and store the pictures. What's The Point? You can quickly and easily collect images for a such things as web pages, brochures, catalogs, business reports and much more besides. How About Moving Images? The Konig USB 2.0 Audio and Video Gabber will grab both still and moving images (up to 30 frames per second) Supports resolution up to 640 x 480 with 30 frames per second. Inputs and Outputs? The input is a choice between phono and S-Video (S-VHS). If you feel you have to input through a Scart lead we'll happily sell you a nice switched Scart/Phono/S-Video Adapter for £9.50 (see below) The output is a type A USB connection. This supports PAL, SECAM and NTSC output. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack output. Anything Else? This is USB 2.0 so installation is simple. It works with Windows 2000, Windows XP. The video grabber is bus powered, so needs no external power supply and works very well with portable computers. You get a USB cable (length approx. 0.7 m). You also get software (VideoStudio 7 SE Basic) for the single-frame exposure and video digitization. File Output? The Konig USB 2.0 Audio and Video Grabber outputs both MPEG1 and MPEG2 encoded files.
