So What's So Good About Them?

All Koss headphones are of high class specification. They are designed for different purposes though.

The Koss Quiet Zone 5 is excellent for music but is also often used for using racing scanners, such as Formula 1 racing and metal detectors.

The QZ5 headphones are equipped with a unique Velcro design head-strap and a rear handle. The headphones have a filling of oily gunk (neodymium magnet structures) this provides excellent isolation from surrounding ambient noise. This is why they are often used for racing scanners.

The technically minded might like to know that the frequency Response 40-20,000 Hz. The cord is coiled and fitted with a single entry plug. Distortion is under 0.3% and impedance 60ohms. Sensitivity is 102dB SPL/1mW.
