The Moser Switchblade is a new design of clipper (2007) that uses a linear drive motor instead of the more usual rotary motor. This motor design means that the clipper will consume less electricity and is better balanced in the hand while in use. The Moser Switchblade clippers are designed to be used continuously over long periods of time (hours) without overheating and to last for years. Most clippers of this kind are either one or two speed clippers. The Moser switchblade however is a true multi speed clipper. By using the motor switch you can set the motor to any speed between 3000-4200 strokes per minute The Moser Switchblade uses standard competition blade sets which gives a massive choice of blades for particular clipping jobs. Ergonomically designed with near perfect balance, very powerful powerful, super quiet and cool running. How Does It Work? The Moser Switchblade Pet Clippers have snap on - snap off precision ground blades. The standard blade cutting length is a Number 10 (1.8mm), but you can use whichever Competition Blade Set that suits the animal's coat. The Switchblade is designed to take a wide variety of blades including some popular snap on blades not made by Moser. This includes the Oster A5 detachable type blades. The Moser Switchblade Pet Clippers also come with a blade guard, clipper oil and cleaning brush. Options? You can also buy clipper comb attachments for the Moser Switchblade, it uses the same combs as all the clippers that take Competition Blade Sets (see opposite for combs). There are extra blade sets also available in a range of cutting lengths. The attachment combs can only be used with 8.5 and shorter blades.
