The Newlink 11g 54Mbps Wireless ADSL Router Modem is a Wireless Network ADSL Router with built in ADSL Modem that will allow a PC with a wireless Network card to connect to other PCs on the wireless network and to the Internet through the modem part of the box. This different from many other ADSL routers because it operates as a modem as well. The Newlink Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router Modem allows you to connect up to four computers or other devices directly to its ethernet connections. You can then use the Newlink Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router Modem wirelessly to connect other devices (PCs, printers etc.) that have wireless PCI cards, USB wireless adapters or other similar wireless enablers.

How Does It Work?

A Wireless ADSL Router is a device that forms a link between PCs equipped with a wireless PCI card or PCMCIA adapter and allows them to be networked together wirelessly. It has 4 10/100 Mbps fast ethernet ports for connecting 4 PCs (or other devices) with Cat5e network cable. The Newlink Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router Modem also has 1 10/100 Mbps WAN port for ADSL connection to a ADSL microfilter and through that to the Internet..

The Newlink Wireless ADSL2/2+ Router Modem has Firewall protection, virtual server mapping, virtual PC mapping and it supports WPA security protection.
