The length adjustment in particular is done very simply by using the locking adjustment wheel - this gives you a cutting range from less than 1mm (without comb) up to 42mm.

What About The Clippers?

The Philips QC5070 clippers are rechargeable. This means that they can be either used corded (connected to the mains) or cordless. A full charge will give you about 35 minutes of cordless use. The blade is self sharpening and never needs oiling. The blade uses a system called SteelWave, The wave shaped blade channels the hair towards the cutting surface.

What About The Other Stuff?

Normally with hair clipper sets you get a few combs, some oil and a brush. With the Philips Philishave QC5070 clippers there is no need for combs or oil. What you do get is a cleaning brush, a comb, a pair of scissors, the power adapter, a proper travel carry case and a instruction CD ROM.
