Power Bright? The Power Bright Power inverter range has been designed in Canada and built in China to exact specifications. When we first began to stock the Power Bright Power Inverters we were astounded at the high quality of the units considering their low price. The combination of keen pricing and high quality has made the Power Bright range into immediate bestsellers. The Power Bright ERP6000 must be connected to two 12 Volt batteries - if both sets of connection are not used you risk damaging the inverter! Power Bright Quality? Power Bright began by importing inverters from China and Taiwan for the North American Market and the failure rate was between 10% to 40% depending on the model and after changing factories 4 times, they where left with two options - to give up on this market or to redesign the products in Canada and open their own factory.
Power Inversion? This Power Bright ERP6000 6000 Watt 12 Volt Power Inverter connects to a 12 Volt car, van or boat battery and inverts the power to provide mains electricity (220-240V AC). The Power Bright ERP6000 6000 Watt 12V power inverter connects directly to the vehicle battery (connection lead is provided). The Power Bright ERP6000 6000 Watt 12 Volt Power Inverter has a single universal 3 pin power socket - this means that it can accept 3 pin plugs from the UK and Ireland and two or three pin plugs from any other European countries. The Power Bright ERP6000 has a continuous power output of 6000 Watts. It's highest possible wattage for short periods is 12000 Watts. This higher wattage is designed to accommodate the power surge that you often get with appliances when they are first turned on. The Power Bright ERP6000 has an adjustable display that can be set to show either the Watts being used or the Volts. What Can I Use It with? Everything with a rating of 6000 Watts or below. This would include an air conditioning system, compressors, large electric motors, TVs, notebook computers, battery chargers, video cameras, portable hi-fis, electric shavers, battery chargers, low, medium and high wattage power tools, microwave ovens, submersible sump pumps etc. This is a modified sine wave inverter, so is ideal for everything except inductive loads (such as fluorescent lighting), for these it would be best to use a pure sine wave inverter. Safety? The Power Bright ERP6000 6000 Watt comes with battery low/high warning and shutdown protection to prevent you draining or damaging the battery. There is short circuit and overload protection as well as over temperature protection. To help keep the temperature low the unit is fan cooled. Who Would Need This?
