Nespresso machines like the Siemens Porsche TK911N2 use Nespresso coffee pods. You can buy the pods on-line direct from Nespresso and they come in a variety of strengths and flavours. Basically the value of the Nespresso system is that the coffee is sealed in its own individual pod. The pod is only broken open in the machine as you are making the coffee. As far as we know there is no better way to keep the coffee fresh. The empty pod is stored in the machine's bin until you empty it. There is no mess and no coffee grounds. The machine is supplied with a starter pack of 12 Nespresso pods. The coffee itself tastes excellent and there is no variation from one cup of coffee to another. The thermoplastic case is cool to the touch and safe. The pump pressure is 19 bars, which is about the standard for a serious coffee machine. Other interesting features are that you can set the machine for water hardness and that it automatically descales itself. Anything Special About It? Part of the joy of the Siemens Porsche TK911N2 Nespresso Machine is in the small design touches. The protective visor which has a motion sensor so that it opens automatically when you need it to. The spotlight that lights up the capsule injection. The Siemens Porsche TK911N2 Nespresso Machine has substance too though. Apart from the features above it has a brilliantly engineered automatic cool down function, so that after producing steam the machine uses a condenser constructed of aluminium to avoid steam leaking. The machine warns when it's capsule bin is full, when it needs to descale itself and when the water tank is empty.
