Is It?
The SLx2 is an aerial amplifier and signal booster that is designed to increase and improve TV and FM signals. How Does It Work? The SLx2 is mains powered. You can connect it to a VCR, satellite receiver, plug your analogue aerial into it or connect to an FM aerial. The SLx2 then enhances any signal passed through it. It has one input (which can be used either for a TV or for FM) and two outputs. The two outputs mean that you can split or boost the signal so it passes to two TVs. The maximum gain of the SLx2 is 18dB and the gain is adjustable. The amplifier is usually sited in a loft or somewhere else fairly close to the source of the signal. This way it will be amplifying the signal at its strongest. Anything Else? It is often used to complement the SLx Link. The SLx2 will not power a masthead amplifier, for that you would need a SLx4 or above. If you do use the SLx2 with the SLx Link you will probably need the SLx Amplifier By-Pass Kit. Or we also have the SLxB series of products which have the by-pass kit built in to them. Need coaxial plugs or other accessories? See our Coaxial Accessories page.
