AV Controllers

An AV Controller alters, converts or adapts an audio visual signal in some way.

Usually this is so that on kind of TV signal can be displayed on a different kind of screen as with a TV to VGA adapter. This allows you to take a TV signal from a satellite, games console etc and display it on a VGA screen.

An RF Modulator does a slightly different job. It is usually used to display a Scart or composite video signal on an old TV with only an aerial input. Or you can take the RF output from the RF Modulator and distribute it around a home using a TV distribution amplifier.
