What Is It?
This product solves a problem - once you've laid cable around your home to extend your use of Satellite TV, a Freeview Box or both to another room you still have to change the channel! The Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal works with the Bluedelta Smart Eye and allows the Bluedelta Smart Eye to control more that just one device. This means that now you can control a VCR or Freeview box as well as the Sky box. Once the Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal is in place you can control the Satellite box and the Freeview Box and even a VCR or DVD Player as well with the original remote or a suitable universal remote control.

There are other Smart Blasters on the market - but be aware that this one is the latest version which means it has its output power better stabilized and it works well with Virgin V+.

What Does It Work With?
The Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal is absolutely wonderful for Sky TV, Freeview boxes and other satellite receivers. You can also use it to control VCRs that are connected. It is also good for controlling cable boxes including all Virgin Media boxes and Vigin V+ boxes.

For multiple installations a Aerial Amplifier may be needed.

Anything Else?
If you are in a single household and you are running just 2 TV's your installation should be as follows:- The aerial in the roof should feed to the aerial input on the digibox, your satellite dish must also feed into the digibox Your main TV must connect to RF out 1, this will show both terrestrial and satellite channels. Then you must connect your 2nd TV to RF out 2, this again will show both terrestrial and satellite channels. The Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal will then allow you to operate your digibox from your bedroom TV. The same is true of a Freeview or cable box and both a cable box, Freeview box and/or a Sky box can both be operated through the Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal. You power the Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal with a power adapter which is supplied.

The Bluedelta Smart Blaster Universal works by picking up the remote control signal from your Sky, Freeview or other remote in your bedroom via the Bluedelta Smart Eye's little eye, converting the infra red pulses to electronic pulses, sending the electronic pulses down the cable to the room where all the equipment is (usually the living room). The Smart Blaster Universal then rebroadcasts the signal and it is picked up by the relevant equipment. If there are any interruptions on the cable (splitters, amplifiers or isolated wall plates), these can also block the signal from returning to the receiver and stop this from functioning properly.
