The Grado RS-2 headphones are similar to the top of the range RS-1. The RS-2 has a smaller wooden chamber, but is hand crafted from the same high quality mahogony. Although smaller the same high quality warm harmonic sound is present.

What About The Sound?
Grado have worked hard to optimize the tonal quality of the RS2 by using dynamic transducers in an open-air configuration - this means that the ear cups are open-backed. The result is a wonderful smooth, coherent sound with detailed dynamics. Frequency response ranges from 15 Hz - 28 kHz and the drivers are matched to 0.05dB.

Anything Else?
Weighing only 200g, the RS-2 headphones are very comfortable to wear. The earpieces are hand crafted from Mahogany using an intricate curing process.

The technically minded might like to know that the frequency response ranges from 15 hz - 28 kHz. The drivers are matched to 0.05dB. Nominal impedance is 32ohms. Both the Voice Coil Wire and the Connecting Cable are UHPLC Copper.
