The Moser Max 45 professional pet clippers are very high quality powerful professional mains pet clippers. The Moser Max 45 is the clipper of choice among many of the very best professional dog groomers as well as veterinary surgeries. The Moser Max 45 is also used by some horse owners and is a particular favourite amongst miniature horse owners. The Max 45 has a very powerful rotary motor (45 Watts) for maximum power, minimum noise and minimum vibration, and it can operate at two speeds for precision work. The Moser Max 45 clippers are designed to be used continuously over long periods of time (hours) without overheating and to last for years.

The Moser Max 45 uses standard competition blade sets which gives a massive choice of blades for particular clipping jobs. The Moser Max 45 comes with a free 8.5 (3mm) blade.

How Does It Work?
The Moser Max 45 Pet Clippers have snap on - snap off precision ground blades. The standard blade cutting length is 3mm. The Max 45 is designed to take a wide variety of blades including some popular snap on blades not made by Moser. This includes the Oster A5 detachable type blades. The Moser Max 45 Pet Clippers also come with a blade guard, clipper oil and cleaning brush.

Options?
You can also buy cutting comb attachments for the Moser Max45. There are extra blade sets also available (see Competition Blade Sets).

The blade snaps into place (there is a grey switch on the back of the clipper that needs to be pressed). If you have trouble fitting the blade please phone us.

Moser Max 45 Professional Pet Clippers

The Moser Max 45 Professional Animal Clipper is a very powerful professional two speed clipper best used with big long haired dogs although it is often used for other animals (including horses). Despite this power the Moser Max 45 weighs less that 500g which makes it the lightest weight clipper in its class. It is powerful enough for dematting badly tangled fur. The Moser Max 45 has a mains rotary motor (so it cannot be used cordlessly) It is lightweight (only 450g) but of extremely strong construction. The Moser Max 45 body is very well balanced and is specially shaped to fit snugly in the hand. The Moser Max 45 has a powerful 45 Watt motor. The motor is good enough to be used continuously over long periods of time (hours) with no overheating. The blades are long lasting chromium plated precision ground hardened steel. They are designed to snap on and snap off and there are a variety of blades available. The clippers come with a free Number 8.5 (which is a 3mm) cutting blade. The Max 45 is designed to accept other makes of snap on blade including the Oster A5 detachable type blades. The Andis AGC 2 is a professional animal clipper used by professional animal groomers and by vets. The Andis AGC 2 has two speeds, low speed for normal clipping and high speed (25 percent faster) for cutting heavy coats. The Andis AGC 2 is very popular partly because it sealed motor is quieter than it's competitors. This makes it very good for use with nervous animals.
