This Power Bright ERP2300 2300 Watt 12 Volt Power Inverter connects to a 12 Volt car, van or boat battery and inverts the power to provide mains electricity (220-240V AC). The Power Bright ERP2300 2300 Watt 12V power inverter connects directly to the vehicle battery (connection lead is not provided).

The Power Bright ERP2300 2300 Watt 12 Volt Power Inverter has 2 UK/Ireland 3 pin power socket - this means that it can accept 3 pin plugs from the UK and Ireland. The Power Bright ERP2300 has a continuous power output of 2300 Watts. It's highest possible wattage for short periods is 4600 Watts. This higher wattage is designed to accommodate the power surge that you often get with appliances when they are first turned on.

The Power Bright ERP2300 has an adjustable display that can be set to show either the Watts being used or the Volts.

The Power Bright ERP2300 also comes with a remote control, allowing you to switch the power inverter on and off at a distance.

What Can I Use It with?
Everything with a rating of 2300 Watts or below. This would include TVs, notebook computers, battery chargers, video cameras, portable hi-fis, electric shavers, battery chargers, low, medium and high wattage power tools, some air conditioning units, microwave ovens, submersible sump pumps etc.

This is a modified sine wave inverter, so is ideal for most use.

Do not use a modified sine wave inverter with fluorescent lighting, domestic refrigerators or with power tool fast chargers, the capacitive load may damage the inverter. Also, if you wish to use the inverter with an extension lead do not use a lead which has surge/spike protection as these also have storage capacitors.

Safety?
The Power Bright ERP2300 2300 Watt comes with battery low/high warning and shutdown protection to prevent you draining or damaging the battery. There is short circuit and overload protection as well as over temperature protection. To help keep the temperature low the unit is fan cooled.
