What Is It?
The SLx2B is an aerial amplifier and signal booster that is designed to increase and improve TV and FM signals. It also allows you to link more than one TV to a Sky decoder box using cable. Unlike the slightly more basic SLx2 the SLx 2B has an integrated digital bypass so it can be used with the SLx Link. This means that you can use the remote control to control a Sky box from the second TV.

How Does It Work?
The SLx2B is mains powered. You can connect it to a VCR, satellite receiver, plug your analogue aerial into it or connect to an FM aerial. The SLx2B then enhances any signal passed through it. It has one input (which can be used either for a TV or for FM) and two outputs. The two outputs mean that you can split or boost the signal so it passes to two TVs.

Anything Else?
It is often used to complement the SLx Link. The SLx2B will not power a masthead amplifier, for that you need a SLx4 or above.

If you use the SLx2B with the SLx Link you will not need the SLx Amplifier By-pass Kit.

We use this for Sky. We get excellent pictures now boosting the signal from RF2 output on a sky receiver 20 metres away from the tvs. Also the digi magic eye bypass works very well.
