What Is It?
The SLx4 is a four way aerial amplifier that is designed to increase and improve TV and FM signals.

How Does It Work?
The SLx4 is mains powered. You can connect it to a VCR, satellite receiver, plug your analogue aerial into it or connect to an FM aerial. The SLx4 then enhances any signal passed through it. It has two inputs (one for TV and one for FM) and four outputs - so you can run four TVs from it if you wish.

The amplifier is usually sited in a loft or somewhere else fairly close to the source of the signal. This way it will be amplifying the signal at its strongest.

Anything Else?
It is often used to complement the SLx Link. The SLx4 will power a masthead amplifier. If you do use the SLx4 with the SLx Link you will probably need the SLx Amplifier By-Pass Kit. Or we also have the SLxB series of products which have the by-pass kit built in to them.

Author: Carl Spring It works! I'd had a few other makes that didn't. I have two TVs connected right now, and will add another two later, and the improvement in the number of Freeview Channels I now get was amazing (I now get nearly double what I got before).
