What Is It?
The SLx6B is a six way aerial amplifier that is designed to increase and improve TV and FM signals. It also allows you to link more than one TV to a Sky decoder box using cable. Unlike the slightly more basic SLx6 the SLx6B has an integrated digital bypass so it can be used with the SLx Link. This means that you can use the remote control to control a Sky box from other TVs that are linked.

How Does It Work?
The SLx6B is mains powered. You can connect it to a VCR, satellite receiver, plug your analogue aerial into it or connect to an FM aerial. The SLx6B then enhances any signal passed through it. It has two inputs (one for TV and one for FM) and six outputs - so you can run six TVs from it if you wish.

Anything Else?
It is often used to complement the SLx Link. The SLx6B will not power a masthead amplifier, for that you need a SLx6. If you do use the SLx6B with the SLx Link you will not need the SLx Amplifier By-Pass Kit.
