This Sterling Power ProPower power inverter converts 12 Volt power to 230V AC 50Hz. This power inverter connects directly to a leisure or vehicle battery via O ring leads (supplied). In continuous use, and connected directly to the battery, it provides 600 Watts. This is enough for electric razors, radios, low wattage power tools, Ghetto blasters, CD players, games consoles, air purifiers, notebook computers, portable TVs, small fridges and Hi-fis (check rating to be sure), etc.
What Can I Use It With?
Most things with a rating of 600W or below. This would include most portable TVs, notebook computers, battery chargers, video cameras, portable hi-fis, small fridges, electric shavers etc.
This is a quasi sine wave inverter, so is ideal for everything except capacitive loads (such as fluorescent lighting), for these it would be best to use a pure sine wave inverter. Do not use a modified sine wave inverter with fluorescent lighting, domestic refrigerators or with power tool fast chargers, the capacitive load may damage the inverter. Also, if you wish to use the inverter with an extension lead do not use a lead which has surge/spike protection as these also have storage capacitors.

The Sterling Power ProPower 600 Watt Quasi Sine Wave Power Inverter has stabilized output voltage, short-circuit, overheat and overload protection with LED fault indicators. The Sterling Power inverter has a multi stage fan control that means that at all times the unit will run a quietly as possible. The inverter has two 230C AC outputs a universal socket that can take UK and Ireland plugs and a Shuko (continental European socket).
