What's The Point?
Originally Wahl designed these clippers for their Afro range. For years, black men who want a really close skin tight fade have been struggling to find clippers that cut close enough. Whatever your hair type these clippers give a great shave. The Wahl is a super close-cutting single cut clipper with precision zero-overlap, fine tooth surgical blades. Ergonomically designed, powerful, super quiet and cool running. The Wahl Balding Clippers are the only clippers we know of that will actually cut to zero. For this reason it is important to set them up properly (read the instructions). It is possible to cut your head if you set them up to cut too close.

Anything Special?
The 5 Star range of hair clippers (including these balding clippers) was designed in the USA partly with the hair clipping needs of African Americans in mind. Afro hair is the most difficult to cut properly, so you know these clippers can handle anything.
