Andis UltraEdge Number 5 Competition Blade with a 6.3mm cutting length. Competition Blade Sets come in a wide variety of types and are designed for different animal clipping and grooming jobs. They are usually used with dog and horses, but occasionally with other animals such as cattle and goats. The Andis UltraEdge blades are made from carbonised steel for blade strength and an extended edge life and they also have a chrome finish that reduces rust. 6.3mm cutting length, skip toothed blade set. Most often the Andis UltraEdge Number 5 blade is used for body, back and side trims on breeds such as Irish Terriers, Welsh Terrier, Bedlington terriers, and Wire Haired Fox Terriers, Jack Russell, West Highland White and Scottish Terrier etc. Also used for matted strip down on breeds such as Newfoundland etc. This blade sets fit the Andis AGC, Andis AGC 2 and Andis AGR ranges. It also fits other clippers which can accept a competition blade including the Moser Max 45, the Moser Avalon and the Moser Artiko clippers. They also fit Laube, Oster, and Thrive animal clippers.
