The Andis AGC 2 has two speeds, low speed for normal clipping and high speed (25 percent faster) for cutting heavy coats. The Andis AGC 2 is very popular partly because it sealed motor is quieter than it's competitors. This makes it very good for use with nervous animals. Cool running 35 Watt motor and it takes a massive range of blades (see Competition Blade Sets). Made in the USA for use in the UK and Ireland. Very high quality. Moser Max 45 Professional Pet Clippers

The Moser Max 45 Professional Animal Clipper is a very powerful professional two speed clipper best used with big long haired dogs although it is often used for other animals (including horses). Despite this power the Moser Max 45 weighs less that 500g which makes it the lightest weight clipper in its class. It is powerful enough for dematting badly tangled fur. The Moser Max 45 has a mains rotary motor (so it cannot be used cordlessly) It is lightweight (only 450g) but of extremely strong construction. The Moser Max 45 body is very well balanced and is specially shaped to fit snugly in the hand. The Moser Max 45 has a powerful 45 Watt motor. The motor is good enough to be used continuously over long periods of time (hours) with no overheating. The blades are long lasting chromium plated precision ground hardened steel. They are designed to snap on and snap off and there are a variety of blades available. The clippers come with a free Number 8.5 (which is a 3mm) cutting blade. The Max 45 is designed to accept other makes of snap on blade including the Oster A5 detachable type blades. The blade snaps into place (there is a grey switch on the back of the clipper that needs to be pressed). If you have trouble fitting the blade please phone us.
