Author: Nick Colebourne I got the Pocket Pro for my two Persian cats who both get very matted fur. I had no expectation that it would work, but I was desperate enough to try anything. I almost gave up before I started because it looks so small and I thought it wouldn't work well enough as it is only battery powered. However, it worked perfectly on both my Persian cats. The noise isn't too loud and even if they don't like it you can use it for just a few second at a time. I am extremely please with the Animal Pocket Pro! I wish I had known about it years ago. I strongly recommend it!
Author: Sammy Leyton I have a British Shorthaired cat whose coat is woolly and a long haired Burmese cat. Both of them can get really matted at certain times of the year and the Burmese doesn't like being brushed much, which makes things worse. This Wahl Pocket Pro trimmer is excellent, especially considering its cheap price. The trick is to do small amounts and not try and remove the whole matted area at once. Also it saves the expense and hassle of taking the cats to the vet just for a hair cut.
