| What Do They
Have Then?
The binoculars part of the Tasco Snapshot - are 10 x 25mm which means that things 1000 yards away appear 300 feet away or for the metric among you: 1000m = 100m. The central hinge on the Tasco Snapshot is adjustable so if your eyes are too close together or too far apart there's no need to worry. The binoculars eyecups are comfortable and you get a nice Neoprene carry case, a cleaning cloth and a strap. The lens are coated to reduce glare and they make the binoculars look really cool. The camera part of the Tasco Snapshot - has 8 x magnification.
The pixel resolution is 640 x 480 which is great for viewing images
on a computer or for printing fairly small images out (normal photograph
size). The image capacity is a minimum of 80 pictures at high resolution
or 300 pictures at low resolution. The Tasco Snapshot comes with an
installation CD ROM which includes a free copy of Photosuite 4.0 SE
image software and a USB cable. Who Would Want These? The Tasco Snapshot camera binoculars are very robust - so one obvious set of users are ramblers, and bird watchers. Instead of finding a bird or animal in the binoculars, then have to grab a camera, find the bird or animal again and then photograph it (it's probably gone by then anyway) - all they have to do is push a button. Another group that like these are people who watch and photograph sport (especially show jumping and point to point for some reason). Guarantee Two year manufacturer's guarantee from Tasco. |
