Wahl Colourpro Hair Clipper Set

The Wahl Colourpro Hair Clipper Set comes complete with a full set of eight colour coded attachment combs. The coded coded set is designed to ensure that you never get the wrong length again. There is a colour key with the lengths (in inches) actually on the clipper body.

What About The Clippers?

The Wahl Colourpro Clippers are excellent considering their low price. The motor itself uses the Powerdrive cutting system. Powerdrive is designed to ensure that the clippers easily cut the thickest hair smoothly. Powerdrive gives a better cutting action than conventional electromagnetic motor clippers. The taper arm which is the lever you can see in the image (right) allows you to control close cutting lengths with a simple flip of the lever.

What About The Other Stuff?

With the Wahl Colourpro Hair Clipper Set you get eight colour coded cutting attachment combs (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8). You also get some extra combs: left and a right ear taper guide combs and an eyebrow trim guide comb. A pair of stainless steel hairdressing scissors, a barber comb, cleaning brush and a small bottle of clipper oil.

Packaging

The case that the set comes in is the only thing about the Wahl Colourpro Hair Clipper Set that we don't like - the case is frankly awful. The main problem is that the plastic they've used to make it is so brittle, that the clip that holds the case shut will break extremely easily. When we unpacked our first consignment of Colourpros the bottom of the box was littered with broken clips. If you are thinking of buying the set because of the case - don't. However, the rest of the package is so good that we think it's well worth putting up with a substandard case.
